We stock used and ex demo Brompton bikes, fully serviced and ready to ride away. Whether you're buying your first Brompton, upgrading to a lighter model or selling one to us, we've got you covered. We also offer a part exchange service, so you can use your current bike as partial payment towards an upgrade. Since 2020, Brompton has grouped its current range into four lines: A Line, C Line, P Line and T Line, alongside an Electric version of most models. If you're buying a used Brompton, you may also come across older bikes labelled with Brompton's original type codes, things like M6L, S2L or H3L. These describe the handlebar shape and gear count rather than a line, and they're common on any Brompton built before the newer naming system came in. If you're not sure which is which, just ask when you get in touch and we'll help match you to the right bike. C Line: The C Line is the classic Brompton shape most people picture. It's the model most riders choose for daily commuting and general city use. A Line: The A Line trades some of that everyday practicality for a lighter build and a wider gear range, suited to riders who want a bit more speed without giving up the fold. P Line: P Line bikes use a titanium fork and rear frame to cut weight while keeping the same riding position as C Line. It's a good middle ground if you're carrying your bike up stairs or onto trains often. The T Line is Brompton's lightest model, built around a full titanium frame. It costs more than the other lines but is the one to choose if low weight matters most to you. Electric versions of most lines add a motor and battery for an easier ride on hills or longer commutes, at the cost of some extra weight. How we prepare every used Brompton Every used and ex demo Brompton we sell is fully serviced before it goes up for sale. That means a full safety check and any consumables replaced where needed, things like brake pads, cables and tyres. We also give every bike a proper clean so it looks as good as it rides. We only list bikes we'd be happy to ride ourselves, and we're upfront about any cosmetic wear so there are no surprises when your bike arrives or when you collect it in store. We buy and sell used Bromptons from our shop in Clapham, and we're one of the more established places in London to see a few models in person before you decide. Can't get to Clapham?
